All operated by hand, these machines are perfect for simple parts, it’s often much quicker and less expensive to manufacture components on a manual mill or lathe depending on their size. Manual machines are great for parts that do not have complex geometries or contours and do not have features that require coordinated motion as they can often be produced faster than with a CNC machine. They are also great for small volume runs, as the set-up doesn’t require programming like with CNC.
