Quality Administrator
Department: Quality
Working hours:
39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday – 07:45 to 17:00
Friday – 8:30 to 12:30
Paid Monthly
XYZ is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Quality Department Member to join its team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager as part of a small team, focusing on continuous improvements. Quality is at the core of the company, interacting with all departments to uphold the XYZ standard.
Main Job activities:
1. Maintain and update ISO 9001 Business Management System
2. Log and investigate non-conformities
3. Conduct regular quality inspections and audits
4. Develop and implement quality control procedures
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with quality standards
6. Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions
7. Assist in training staff on quality standards and procedures
Key skills:
Essential
1. Proven experience within an Engineering environment, ideally qualified level 3+
2. Keen eye for detail
3. Driven approach to problem solving
4. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to talk to a range of people
5. Technical report writing experience
6. Understanding of engineering drawings (electrical and mechanical)
7. Use of basic hand tools
8. Team player
9. Strong organizational skills
10. Competent using MS Office suite, including SharePoint
Desirable
1. HND/HNC/Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths) subject
2. Understanding of ISO 9001
3. Knowledge of machine tool related standards
4. Experience in quality role
5. Experience managing calibrated equipment
6. CAD skills
7. Experience of project management
8. Experience of document control

Machine Tool Service Engineers
Department: Service
Location: Nationwide – All locations considered
Working hours: Full time
We are looking for an apprentice trained service engineer from within the machine tool industry to join our dedicated team of field based service engineers
The successful applicant will have done a minimum of a 4 year apprenticeship in the engineering sector preferably with field service experience. The applicant should be comfortable working with both mechanical and electrical aspects of machine tools. Experience with ProtoTRAK® and Siemens controlled machines beneficial although not essential as training will be given on control aspects of the machines. The role will involve travelling to customers sites to commission, service and repair XYZ Machine Tools extensive range of machines and will involve some nights away.
