With the opening of its purpose built showroom in Zabrze, Poland XYZ Machine Tools is embarking on a program of expansion. The new showroom is strategically placed in the south of Poland with easy motorway access to the industrial heartland of the country. Visitors will get to see the potential of the ProtoTRAK control system, with eight machines being on display from the ProtoTRAK range of bed mills, lathes and the 2-OP and TMC machining centres.

In support of the new showroom two sales managers have been appointed, these are Piotr Madeja and Jan Wyremba. Piotr has a wealth of experience in cutting tool sales and applications, while Jan’s experience is in machine tool sales, working for leading manufacturers.
“In Piotr and Jan, we have found a good balance of experience that will translate into significant growth for the XYZ Machine Tools brand in the coming months and years,” says Howard Bamforth, Export Sales Director, XYZ Machine Tools. “While the current situation in Ukraine has had some impact on manufacturing in the region, we are confident that we can see significant sales growth over the next 18 months to two years. These appointments and the opening of the Zabrze showroom are a starting point in a project that will see XYZ Machine Tools investing further in Poland. Alongside this, we can offer training and have an appointed Service Partner in Poland, enabling us to provide installation and any service requirements moving forward. Both of which are supported from our factory in the UK if required with, for example spare parts dispatched within 24 hours.”

Piotr and Jan started their employment on the 1st October and have spent a month at XYZ Machine Tools headquarters and factory in Burlescombe, England undergoing intensive product training. This will enable them to be confident making presentations and demonstrations, both in the showroom and in customers’ factories as they get to work from the 1st of November. A series of open houses are planned for February 2023, with more detail to follow in the new year.
